So… still pretty uninspired in the kitchen.
But because I have no self control (and I always want something sweet), I made brownies.
I actually got 30 brownies (not 24) out of this recipe. I used cheap silicon liners, and filled them using a 1.5 inch cookie scoop. The liners I used didn’t hold their shape very well, as you can tell from the pictures.
I ended up using ALL the cookie dough. And when I say “all” I mean “all the cookie dough I didn’t eat”. I used a heaping 1 inch cookie scoop to put the dough on top of the slightly cooled brownies, then squished it down into the brownie layer.
I used chocolate chip instead of chocolate chunks in the ganache.
Once these cool completely the silicone wrappers peel right off. These Cookie Dough Brownie went over REALLY well with everyone at the.mr’s work AND the two of us, of course. 😉
