Low Calorie Brownies

Adapted from Skinny Mom

 

1 cup whole wheat flour

½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon baking powder

½ cup sweetener (I used Domino Light, a sugar/ stevia blend)

¼ cup light brown sugar

1/3 cup unsweetened almond milk

2 egg whites, beaten

1 cup unsweetened apple sauce

½ cup Reese’s Pieces

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F, line a 9X13 pan with parchment paper & lightly grease bottom and sides
  2. Whisk together flour, cocoa powder, salt, baking soda, baking powder
  3. In another bowl whisk together sweetener, light brown sugar, almond milk, egg whites, and apple sauce
  4. Stir the wet mixture into the dry mixture until they’re JUST combined
  5. Spread into the prepared pan and sprinkle with Reese’s Pieces
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until edges are brown and a toothpick in the middle comes out mostly clean

The entire pan has 1488 calories total!
