Red Hot Velvet Cupcakes

Red Velvet Cake baked with Goldshlager, topped with Goldshlager vanilla buttercream
 
Cake
1 box Duncan Hines Red Velvet cake mix
3 eggs
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup water
3/4 cup Goldshlager
  1. Mix all ingredients
  2. Bake @ 350 F for 19-22min
 
Frosting
1 stick unsalted butter, softened
2 teaspoons vanilla
4 tablespoons Goldshlager
1 lb powdered sugar
  1. cream butter
  2. add 1/2 powdered sugar & vanilla, beat
  3. add 1/2 Goldshlager, beat
  4. add remaining powdered sugar and Goldshlager to desired thickness and taste
